Preparation time: 30 minutes
Ingredients :
200 g potatoes
150 g wild mushrooms ( or champignons )
200 ml water
100 g oat drink (milk)
70 g onion
10 g oil
3 g flour
2 g chili pepper
1 g salt
Optional topings:
3 g sesame seeds
basil leave
Directions:
Boil the potatoes, leaving the skins on. Cut onion and mushrooms. Heat a pan add oil and onion. When the onion is golden add mushrooms. Fry until the water from mushrooms has evaporated. Add flour and fry until the mushrooms are not white anymore. Now add salt, pepper and slowly water on to the pan.
Cook 10 minutes and then add oat drink. Let it simmer on low heat about 7-10 more minutes, turn off the heat and let the sauce cool down a little bit. Potatoes should be ready now. Take a plate and add your potatoes and sauce on it. Garnish with sesame seeds and basil. This is a traditional Estonian food, made a little bit untraditional way.
