Fun facts

Health benefits of cauliflower: * Cauliflower is quite high in fiber, which is good for overall health. One cup of cauliflower contains 3 grams of fiber, which is 10% of your daily needs. Fiber is important because it nourishes the healthy bacteria in the gut that help reduce inflammation and promote digestive health. * Cauliflower is a great source of antioxidants that protect your cells from harmful free radicals and inflammation. Like other cruciferous vegetables, cauliflower has a particularly high content of glucosinolates and isothiocyanates, two groups of antioxidants that have been shown to slow the growth of cancer cells. * Cauliflower has several properties that can help with weight loss. First, it's low in calories - only 25 calories per cup, so you can eat a lot without gaining weight. It can also be a low-calorie substitute for high-calorie foods such as rice and flour. As a good source of fiber, cauliflower slows down digestion and promotes a feeling of fullness. This can automatically reduce the number of calories eaten throughout the day, which is an important factor in weight management.

Recipe for four Ingredients: 1 cauliflower head (approx. 600 g) 8 tablespoons barbecue ketchup 4 tablespoons tempura flour Preparation: Preheat oven to 200 ° C. Wash the cauliflower thoroughly. Remove the cauliflower leg and cut the cauliflower into bite-sized pieces.

Take a bowl and place the tempura in it. Add 50-100 ml of water. Mix the dough well and add water if necessary. The dough should remain like a thicker kind of pancake batter. Take the baking sheet and place the baking paper on it. Dip the cauliflower pieces one at a time into the tempura dough and then place them on the baking sheet.

When the hob is covered with cauliflower and the temperature has reached the desired heat, place the hob in the oven. Bake for 30 minutes. Take another bowl and place the ketchup in it. After cooking for 30 minutes, remove the cauliflower from the oven.

You now have two options. If you want crispy cauliflower, just dip them in ketchup and then serve on a plate. However, if you want a little softer, dip the cauliflower in ketchup and then put it back on the baking sheet. Bake for another 10 minutes. Take the cauliflower out of the oven, let it cool for a while and then serve it on the party table. A nice snack for a parties. Bon Appetit!
