This lasagne serves 6 people

Preparation time: 45 minutes


500 g tomato paste

300 g shell pasta

250 g tofu

70 g vegan cheese

40 g onion

15 g maple syrup

10 g oil

7 g nutritional yeast

4 g salt

3 g black pepper

Side dish per person extra 88 kcal:

100 g steam broccoli

100 g steam cauliflower

50 g steam carrot


Take a pot and put 600 ml of water in it. Set it on a stove and heat till boiling. When the water is boiling add the shell pasta and place the sieve on top of the pot with the vegetables. Boil about 10 minutes. Rinse the pasta in cold water and set on aside. Put the vegetables in a bowl and set the bowl in cold water so the vegetables will stop cooking. Heat your pan. Cut onions into cubes. Put oil on a pan and when it's heated add onions. When onions are golden brown add tofu, 2 g of salt and crushed black pepper. Fry tofu till it's golden outside, but soft inside. It should take about 5-7 minutes. When tofu is ready, turn off the heat and add nutritional yeast. Take a bowl and add tomato paste with 2 g of salt and maple syrup in it. Mix all together. Reheat the oven to 220°C. Now take an oven pan and put one-third of tomato paste in it. Add half of the pasta and then top it with a half of fried tofu. Then add another one-third of tomato paste on top and then the rest of the pasta and tofu. Cover with one-third of tomato paste. Put the shell lasagna in the oven for 15 minutes. At the same time grate vegan cheese. After 15 minutes take the lasagna out of the oven and top it with the grated cheese. Put back into the oven for 10 minutes. When the cheese is melted, take the lasagna out of the oven and let it cool down.

Cut the lasagna into 6 pieces. Take a plate to add shell lasagna on it and on to another side the steamed vegetables. This recipe is good to enjoy with your family on father's Day or any other weekday with friends and family. If you have leftovers you can set it in a freezer up to a month. Happy father's Day!
