Fun facts

Health benefits of cucumber: * Water is crucial for body functions, playing many important roles. It is involved in processes such as temperature control and the transport of residues and nutrients. Consuming the right water can actually affect everything from physical performance to metabolism. Fruits and vegetables in particular can be a good source of water in the diet. Because cucumbers are made up of about 96% water, they are especially effective in promoting hydration and helping you meet your daily fluid needs. * Eating cucumber can help you lose weight in many different ways. Recipe for two

Ingredients:

300 g Roman salad 300 g of cucumber 200 g Bon soya soy slices 2 tablespoons vegan mayonnaise 1 tablespoon pumpkin seeds Preparation: Rinse the Roman salad under running water. Cut the Roman salad into small strips. Wash the cucumber and chop the cucumber into small slices.

A slight deviation from the recipe. I don't know why, but I've enjoy peeling a cucumber before I add it to a salad. Cucumber peel contains a lot of minerals, so it is better not to peel the cucumber, but rather to add it to salads as a whole. If you also have this habit, don't let the peel go to waste. Cucumber peels are very suitable for adding flavor to water. Cucumber is also refreshing to the skin. Wash your face clean and apply cucumber peel to your face. Gives a pleasantly fresh feeling to the skin.

Now let's go back to making salad. When the cucumber and romaine lettuce are chopped, add 2 tablespoons of vegan mayonnaise to the bowl. Mix well so that all the leaves of the Roman salad are covered with mayonnaise. Finally, add Bon Soya soy slices.

You can fry the soy slices in a pan beforehand, but I personally like them cold inside the salad. Serve on a plate and shake over the pumpkin seeds. Suitable for breakfast, snack or next to the main course. Bon Appetit!
