Fun facts Ginger benefits for health:
* Ginger has been shown to be effective against exercise-induced muscle pain. In one study, consuming 2 grams of ginger per day, for 11 days, significantly reduced muscle pain in people performing elbow exercises. * Osteoarthritis is a common health problem. It involves degeneration of the joints in the body, leading to symptoms like joint pain and stiffness. In a controlled trial of 247 people with osteoarthritis of the knee, those who took ginger extract had less pain and required less pain medication
* Oxidative stress and chronic inflammation can accelerate the aging process. They are believed to be among the key drivers of Alzheimer’s disease and age-related cognitive decline. Recipe for two
2 celery stalks
2 large handfuls of kale
1 thumb-sized piece of ginger
Wash carrots, celery, kale and grapefruit. Then peel the grapefruit and separate into 5 pieces to fit in the opening of the juicer. Peel a carrot with a peeling knife and then cut into pieces. Cut the celery into smaller pieces. Fold the kale leaves into pieces. Peel the ginger clean with the help of a spoon, so the peel comes off easily and the ginger is not lost.
Take the juicer and place a container under it where you collect the juice. Turn on the juicer and turn the vegetables into juice. When the juice is ready, mix it through and pour the juice through the sieve into glasses. The color is not very appetizing, but the taste is wonderful and it also provides the body with the necessary nutrients. Enjoy in the morning before breakfast. Bon Appetit! Did You Try This Recipe?
