Health benefits of dewberries:

* Because of the loads of antioxidants present in dewberries, regularly consuming them can help in lowering the levels of bad cholesterol in the blood. As a result, the arteries can be kept from ending up clogged.

* Doctors say that the reduction of bad cholesterol can help lower the blood pressure. But since dewberries have good amounts of potassium, too, their high blood pressure-lowering properties are considerably increased.

* Vitamin C is also present in dewberries, which is a well-known immune-booster, too. But vitamin C is also revered for its ability to promote healing of wounds as well as various problems concerning the skin.

Preparation time: 5 minutes


Ingredients:

1 banana

200 ml of water

100 ml oat drink

80 g frozen dewberry

15 g soy protein

1 tablespoon peanut butter

2 teaspoon of chia seeds


Directions:

Put water and oat milk in the blender. Then add the banana, dewberries, peanut butter and soy protein. Blend everything into a nice creamy smoothie. Pour into a glass and sprinkle with chia seeds. A deliciously sweet and refreshing snack. Bon Appetit!
