Healht benefits of potatoes: * Potatoes are rich in compounds like flavonoids, carotenoids, and phenolic acids. These compounds act as antioxidants in the body by neutralizing potentially harmful molecules known as free radicals. When free radicals accumulate, they can increase the risk of chronic diseases like heart disease, diabetes, and cancer.
* Potatoes contain a special type of starch known as resistant starch. This starch is not broken down and fully absorbed by the body. Instead, it reaches the large intestine where it becomes a source of nutrients for the beneficial bacteria in your gut.
* Aside from being nutritious, potatoes are also incredibly filling. Foods that are filling may help you regulate or lose weight, as they curb hunger pains.
Recipe for 20 pieces
10 miniature potatoes
teaspoon of vegan yogurt
teaspoon of vegan mayonnaise
pinch black salt
a little bit of dill
Take the 10 smallest potatoes, wash them clean and place in a pot. Add water to the pot and bring to the boil. Boil the potatoes for 10 minutes. Use a knife to check if the potatoes are soft inside. Strain the water and rinse with cold water. Cut the potatoes in half and remove some of the contents from the center with a small spoon. Put the removed contents in a separate bowl and add the yogurt, mayonnaise, turmeric, and black salt. You can use this hand blender to turn this wonderful mass into a pleasant cream. Take a small plastic bag and put the potato cream in one corner. Cut the tip and squeeze the cream into the potato. Garnish by sprinkling with a little paprika and dill.
