Fun facts

Health benefits of dates:

* Getting enough fiber is important for your overall health. 3.5 servings of dates contain nearly 7 grams of fiber. Fiber can be good for the health of your digestive tract by preventing constipation.

* Dates provide a variety of antioxidants. Antioxidants protect your cells from free radicals, which are unstable molecules that can cause harmful reactions in your body and cause disease.

* Eating dates can help improve brain function. Laboratory studies have found that dates are useful for lowering inflammatory markers such as interleukin 6 (IL-6) in the brain. High levels of IL-6 are associated with an increased risk of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease.

Recipe 14 gingerbread Ingredients:

200 g of fresh dates

150 g of cashew nuts

1 teaspoon gingerbread seasoning

Preparation:

Clean the dates from the seeds. Take a food processor and add cashews. Crush the walnuts into flour. Place the walnut flour in a separate bowl. Now add the cleaned dates to the food processor. Puree the dates into a soft mass. Add the walnut flour and gingerbread seasoning to the mass. Mix everything again. Form into a ball and place in a bowl. Put the dough in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes. Then remove the dough from the refrigerator. Since the dough is sticky it is good to mold it out on food. Place the food on the table and place the dough on it. Place the other food on top of the dough. Form the dough with a rolling pin

wide. Take out the gingerbread molds and cut out the gingerbread from the dough. Place the gingerbread on a baking sheet. Preheat oven to 200 ni. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake the gingerbread for 5-10 minutes. Gingerbread is ready when it has become pleasantly crispy on top. Remove the baking tray from the oven and allow the gingerbread to cool. Enjoy with vegetable milk. Bon Appetit! You can find this recipe and many interesting ideas in Vegan Magazine!
