Fun facts

The health benefits of almonds: * Almonds are a fantastic source of antioxidants. Antioxidants help protect against oxidative stress, which can damage your cell molecules and promote inflammation, aging and diseases such as cancer. * Vitamin E is a family of fat-soluble antioxidants. These antioxidants tend to accumulate in the cell membranes of your body, protecting the cells from oxidative damage. Almonds are among the best sources of vitamin E in the world, only 1 serving provides 37% of RDI. * Nuts are low in carbohydrates but contain healthy fats, protein and fiber. This makes them a perfect choice for people with diabetes. Another blessing of almonds is their remarkably large amount of magnesium. Magnesium is a mineral that is involved in more than 300 physical processes, including controlling blood sugar. * Magnesium in almonds can also help lower blood pressure. High blood pressure is one of the leading causes of heart attacks, strokes and kidney failure. Magnesium deficiency is strongly associated with high blood pressure, regardless of whether you are overweight.

Recipe for 24 balls

Ingredients: 100 g of soybean pulp 5 dried shiitake mushrooms 3 handfuls of peeled almonds 3 tablespoons oatmeal 50 g of coconut fat 2 tablespoons flax seeds 1 tablespoon ketchup 1 tablespoon seasoning yeast 1 teaspoon citrus flavored soup 1 teaspoon mayoran 1 teaspoon salt Preparation: To get started, take a glass and add flax seeds with 4 tablespoons of water. Place the glass in the refrigerator and let stand for 3-8 hours. Take the food processor and place the soy pulp, shiitake, almonds, oatmeal in it. Puree for 3 minutes, do not let completely flour but let some larger pieces remain. Then place a pot of water on the stove. Bring the water to a boil and place the bowl on top of the pot. Take the coconut fat and place it in a bowl. Melt the coconut oil and then turn on the stove.

Pour the flax seeds into the nuts. Puree for 3-5 minutes. When the flax seeds are melted for a few minutes, melted coconut fat. Continue pureing. Then add spices and ketchup.

Puree for another 2 minutes. Then add the mixture to a bowl and cover with kitchen film. Refrigerate the dough for at least 1 hour. Wet your hands and form equal balls of dough. I used a hot air fryer for baking, but it can also be prepared in the oven. For a hot air fryer, place the balls and bake at 200 ° C for 20 minutes.

When the balls are ready, remove them from the fryer and place on a plate to cool for a few minutes. When warm, the balls are crispy on the top and soft on the inside. When cold, on the other hand, they are very reminiscent of the texture of meatballs. Can be enjoyed both hot and cold. When cold, they are delicious shavings. Bon Appetit!
